Question 1

Do I DJ inside MixPilotLab, or is this a prep tool?

Accepted Answer

MixPilotLab is a prep tool — it analyzes your library and shows you the best transitions before you play. You still perform in the DJ software you already use (Rekordbox, Serato, Traktor, and others); MixPilotLab doesn't replace your controller or DJ app.

Question 2

Which audio file formats do you support?

Accepted Answer

You can upload MP3, WAV, FLAC, and M4A files, with batch processing of up to 1,000 files in the background.

Question 3

Do I need to manually tag BPM and key?

Accepted Answer

No. Our advanced audio analysis engine automatically extracts every track's BPM, Camelot key, energy curve, and structure - no manual tagging or guesswork required.
