Terms of Service

Effective date: July 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the service available at mixpilotlab.com (the "Service"), operated by MixPilotLab ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service analyzes audio files you upload — detecting tempo, musical key, energy, song structure, and vocal content — and generates compatible track-transition recommendations for DJ mixing. Certain features, including stem separation and automated transition recommendation notes, are computationally intensive and may be subject to rate limits or processing queues.

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Paid Plans and Billing

The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans, billed monthly or annually, which differ in storage quota, track limits, monthly stem-separation credits, and access to certain features (automated transition notes, the Set Builder, mashup export, and the Pitcher/Joiner tools). Current plans and pricing are published on our Pricing page.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, Inc. ("Lemon Squeezy"), which acts as our merchant of record for all subscription checkout and billing. We do not see or store your full card number; Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment details directly, under its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. See Section 4 of our Privacy Policy for the subscription-related data we store ourselves.

Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. Your monthly stem-separation credit allotment resets at the start of each billing period and does not carry over from the previous period.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Billing, which opens Lemon Squeezy's customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to your plan and any remaining credits through the end of the period already paid for, after which your account automatically reverts to the free plan. Deleting your account under Section 10 also immediately cancels any active subscription.

Failed or missed payments. If a renewal charge fails, your subscription enters a grace period during which paid access continues while payment is retried. If all retries are unsuccessful, paid access ends and your account reverts to the free plan; your account and uploaded library are not deleted as a result.

Refunds. If you are dissatisfied with a paid subscription, you may request a full refund by contacting support@mixpilotlab.com within fourteen (14) days of the charge giving rise to your request. Refund requests made after this period will be considered at our discretion, except where a longer period is required by applicable law. Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy as our merchant of record and may take several business days to appear on your statement.

Stem-separation credits. Each stem-separation job consumes one credit from your plan's current monthly allotment. If a job fails for a reason attributable to our infrastructure, the credit consumed is automatically returned to your balance; you are not charged a credit for a job that does not complete successfully.

Effect of reverting to the free plan. If your account reverts to the free plan — whether by cancellation, a failed payment, or otherwise — your uploaded tracks and library are not deleted. You retain access under the free plan's limits but lose access to paid-only features (including stem separation and automated transition notes) until you resubscribe.

4. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@mixpilotlab.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Content You Upload

You retain ownership of any audio file you upload. By uploading a file to the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • you own the file, or hold the rights and permissions necessary (including, where applicable, from the relevant rights holder) to upload it and to have it processed by the Service for your own analysis purposes; and
  • your use of the Service does not infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of any third party.

We do not review uploaded files for copyright status and disclaim any responsibility for verifying the legality of content you upload. Where we receive a valid takedown notice or court order concerning content on the Service, we will act on it, which may include removing the content and/or suspending the associated account. See our DMCA / Copyright Infringement Policy for the procedure to submit a notice, our counter-notification process, and our policy on repeat infringers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • upload or process content through the Service that you do not have the rights to use, or that is unlawful in your jurisdiction;
  • attempt to circumvent rate limits, storage quotas, or other technical safeguards of the Service;
  • probe, scan, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service's infrastructure or to any other user's account or data; or
  • use the Service to build a competing product by systematically extracting its analysis output at scale.

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates this Section.

7. Third-Party Services

Certain features of the Service depend on third-party providers, including Lemon Squeezy for payment processing (Section 3), a third-party language-processing provider for automated transition notes, an email delivery provider for account-related communications, and, where configured, a cloud storage provider. The availability and terms of these third-party services are outside our control. See Section 4 of our Privacy Policy for what data reaches these providers and why.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANALYSIS RESULTS — INCLUDING TEMPO, MUSICAL KEY, TRANSITION SCORES, AND AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED NOTES — ARE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SUCH OUTPUTS ARE ADVISORY ONLY, AND YOU REMAIN SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN MIXING DECISIONS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MIXPILOTLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Deleting your account also cancels any active paid subscription under Section 3, so that no further charges will occur. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, and will provide notice where practicable under the circumstances. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with the retention and deletion terms set out in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or in applicable law. Where a change is material, we will notify you at your registered email address in advance of, or promptly following, the change taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection venue rights you may have under the law of your place of residence.
